Protocol:
Twenty healthy, fair skinned adult subjects were treated with DuraScreen® Suntan Lotion. For a full eight hours, they repeated periods of 30 minutes water immersion in a circulating whirlpool tub followed by ten minutes out of the water.
Results:
In an aggressive wash off challenge, after 360 minutes total
immersion time, the results showed a minimal drop in sun protection:
